Process of putting our Print advert together:
So the idea we decided to go for was the blurry image of a street with people in it because it seems the best for sight and how eye sight deteriates as you get older. So to start this process we had to open up th image into "Adobe Photooshop" and then this image will be classed as the background layer. To make this poster did not take long to make because we wanted to keep it simple. So after the image was uploaded we had to get our "Ident" which is the "Channel 4" logo up on our image. So we imported the black version of the channel 4 logo but realised that it was too dark and hard to see. So we changed it to the white channel 4 logo and it was a better choice because it match the white text we are going to add, then we wanted to link the colour to the actual documentary so we used the bucket tool to turn the logo into purple like the interviewee title background. To make sure that the logo for the channel 4 didn't look badly superimposed we had to use the eraser tool to get rid of any unnecesary parts of the logo that might of made the print look abstract. Once that is done we were free to "transform" the image size, movement etc. Once we done that we made sure it was at the middle right of the image so that it would match the conventions of print adverts. Then we put in simple purple text at the bottom left corner of the image so that the title doesn't take the attention from the image and so it matches the logo and will link into the documentary and then put a white background behind the text with low opacity so you could see the text more clearly. That is a few layers of text and two images etc put together to make our Print Advert for our "CAN YOU SEE ME NOW DOCUMENTARY."
